Early in law school, I wanted to pursue so many careers. I explored and eventually identified my long-term goals with the help of professors and advisers who encouraged me to think about what I wanted not only immediately after law school but down the road. Through those discussions as well as my clinics, teaching assistantship, and externship and research experiences, I found my place as an in-house counsel after starting my career at a large law firm in New York.
When I interviewed at NBCUniversal, I instantly felt like I could be my full self in a way I had never been in any other interview process. That’s how I knew it was the right place for me. My colleagues are hardworking, thoughtful, and deeply passionate about their work, whether in the newsroom, on a film set, or supporting the company’s diverse business ventures in various buildings and locations around the world. Working in-house has allowed me to counsel and advise the different business teams in a broad range of settings where applying my legal knowledge is critical to NBCUniversal’s mission and the company’s functioning.
As a member of the Michigan Law alumni community, I see how the name recognition of my alma mater has opened doors to incredible career opportunities.
